My Favorite designer Dolce and Gabbana
Still inspired by the label’s tradition and Italian flair signature, Dolce and Gabbana Fall Winter 2012-2013 made its debut in Milan Fashion Week, displaying ultra-glamorous womenswear collection with an excessive sheer opulence, spectacular embroidery, intricate applications and sumptuous fabrics.
It’s a parade of flamboyant attire, where predominantly monochromatic palettes of black and white tones were paired with eye-catching gold detailing and loud statement prints. Precious metal embroidery in intricate gold thread, tapestry prints, bejeweled applications, pearls, and waxed silk were scattered among pieces and fashioned into flowers which was also included in the accessories, such as jewelries, bags, shoes and even socks.
No doubt, while models walked the catwalk, donning number of delicate lace dresses, capes, jackets, and skirts as well as accessories, each selection perfectly contribute the elegance and sparks of the entire collection that all are adorned with gold adornments. While volume and padded hips of the skirts and even jackets, were pretty much reminiscent of the sumptuous 18th century outfits, in which the waistline was emphasized by clinched corsets and the hips were widened with intricate constructions which added volume to the figure
As the classics and traditions are always part of the brand’s DNA, once again, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana brought the glams combined with religious spirit of their Sicilian traditions, and they has successfully pushed the vocabulary with positive results by presenting such amazing, graceful collection, showing how sheer they were, but weren't quite holy.
Here is just the clothes from this wonderful collection, next week I will do the bags.It is to big of a collection to do all at once.
Without further ado!
